So I've been pondering this a while... What if you ran RDW with Time Reversal? There was a RDW in Japan that one a Nats qualifier (I think it was) by running all burn and Howling Mine. Could the same be done with Time Reversal? Even run Jace Beleren for cards? To make it even better, run a Runeflare Trap. lol, that idea just came to mind, but its funny. Let me draw up a draft:
4x Goblin Guide
3x Time Reversal 4x Searing Blaze 4x Lightning Bolt 4x Burst Lightning 4x Forked Bolt 2x Runeflare Trap
4x Scalding Tarn 4x Arid Mesa 4x Island 1x Halimar Depths 11x Mountain
Needs more burn! I forget that burn is getting the axe post-rotation. This is TBC. Or it could just be a Runeflare Trap deck (boring).

I think Jace's Ingenuity may be good in this too.

This deck must have been a terrible idea because this post killed Type 2 discussion, lol.

Let's not dismiss any decks until we have sleeved them up and played them.
Well unless they are running the card that shall not be named. Then we can dismiss them.

Is the card with no name Jace?

No. It is not Jace, but those two underlined letters are correct. Is Time Reversal "breakable" in this deck with Pyromancer's Ascension?

IF the Ascension is already active, then i can see it being breakable. The only thing you'd have to be careful of is decks that have sideboardable removal for the Ascension. If they blow up your ascension in response to you casting Time Reversal, then that puts you pretty far behind since you won't have the instant/sorceries in the 'yard to get another ascension active early and easily.

Lol, but Ascension + Runeflare Trap = Face Melt. I think, Nathan, that Ascension is just a filler in the deck. It's like: if you get it active and it stays in play you can't lose, but if you don't you still have ways to win. It's not Pyromancer Ascension.dec; it's Burn.dec, with an Ascension alternative. In that sense, it may not be so bad as a 2 or 3 of main deck.

I've never tested with the Ascension as filler, so, you'll have to let me know if it works.

sure time reversal is a hand reloader but your also forgetting its reloads your opponents hand also. so any removal or counters or stuff to stop you, you just gave back to them do i think time reversal will see play yes after som when a combo with the deck happens right now i dont see it. there just better options.
