I recently joined magic online and wanted to see who all from around here plays. I only have the starter set so far but would love to play some locals. My user name is tennistech.

I get online and play occasionally. I'm natedog08 online (hard to guess, huh?) and I normally play in Pauper events.

Pauper is a format using only basic lands and commons. It's a cheap way for newer players to get outside of the new player section. I have 8 different Pauper decks online and only spent 25 dollars.

I will definately have to get a couple of those decks put together then. Is the system able to keep other decks with uncommons, rares, etc. out. There is nothing worse than playing with a M11 deck w/o a single rare in the New Player section against someone throwing down multiple planeswalkers. Look me up some time or let me know when you might be on. You can text me at 601-310-4542.

I haven't played inside the New Player room in forever, so I don't know if it would work there. But in the other free play rooms, (tournament practice is the one I usually play in) when you create an online match, you have to choose what format the match your creating will be. If you choose pauper, then your opponents can only upload decks that are legal in pauper.
And, I'll definately let you know when I'm online, see if I can get ya started. I'll also send you a list of my personal favorite deck for the format, which i think cost a total of $10 bucks to build if I remember right.

Wesley here. m4sterchef on mtgo. I was kinda hoping a few MS magic people played online. I basically only draft BUT I have a few T2 decks I play casually. Mainly cheap, competitive stuff (cause let's face it, it's a game, you keep score, you wanna win)

I played my first draft on-line last night. I didn't do great, but considering I haven't drafted in years, I was ok with it. At least I got some new cards, and maybe a few good cards to add to my decks.

I play online all the time. I draft in Swiss queues about 8 times a week. Don't lose much and average 2 packs a draft in return. Spend about $150 a month. Name I usually use is: IMAH8R also have Dajinn account and TheNutz. Been on there since it started 10 years ago. have almost 50,000 cards. Have been waiting 3-4 years now for leagues to come back. I live in Picayune.
