I'm new to this mtg group and wondering if you guys have an event planned for the 16th? If so, what format and what kind of turn-out do you usually have?
and are you guys sanctioned?

Sometimes we're sanctioned, sometimes not.
We do plan to have a draft on the 16th.
We generally have between 10-20 show up.

We are sanctioned just sometimes tech problems make it so we can't be turn in sanctioned results on a specific night.

Comfort Suites in Hattiesburg. It is next to Hooters/Outback Steakhouse. The event starts at 6:00 (draft), registration will start at 5:30. Make sure you get there a good bit before 6 so you don't get left out.

you guys just do cash prize? any promo cards? I like me some promo cards.

We can do promo's sometimes but not with any regularity as we are not an actual store. We do packs only prizes.
You get packs for going X-1 or undefeated. Prizes depend on the number of people who show up. I think 2 packs go into the pool to be divided among the X-1s and the undefeated guys for every person that shows up.
Going undefeated gets you double the packs of having one loss.
