How did everyones M13 Prerelease go? The Hattiesburg group that went down to Spanish Fort got 4 out of the top 5 positions, but a local Spanish Fort guy won it all. My pool was for sure white and I had to decide if I wanted to go white black exalted or white green efficiently costed dudes. The elephants and the vigilance spider pushed me white green and I just had to hope to curve out in order to win. 2/2 for 2 and 3/3 for 3 did pretty solidly for me. I ended up splashing black for Rise from the Grave and Public Execution off a farseek and a evolving wilds. I went 3-1 and lost my single match to Nefarox one game and Nefarox + Lifelink enchantment the second game www.magicspoiler.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Nefarox-Overlord-of-Grixis-M13-Visual-Spoiler.jpgHighlight of the event for me Turn one play forest and arbor elf Turn two play forest tap 2 forest and use arbor elf to play Elvish Archdruid Turn 3 play forest tap elvish archdruid for two mana tap 3 forests use arbor elf in order to play Staff of Nin www.magicspoiler.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/Staff-of-Nin-M13-Spoiler.jpgProceed to draw two cards a turn for the rest of the game.

Went to an event in Tupelo with a few of the Starkville magic players, i got 4th place out of 52 players
Some of the best plays I had in the tournament were , Reverberating Chandra's Fury to wipe my opponents board
Using Boundless Realms to pull all basic lands out of my deck and next turn volcanic geyser for the win.
And lastly, using Predatory Rampage on my stuffy doll for the win while all my opponent had were 2 Attended Knights, one being enchanted with dark favor.

I was 3-1 with a pool that included Liliana, Disciple of Bolas, Spelltwine and Redirect. Those cards, it turns out, are quite good.
Also, Chronomaton is pretty solid. Cool little dude.
