My goal here is to create 4 Planechase Constructed decks that each use their own set of 10 Planechase Cards. I want the decks to be Legacy legal. The decks should be fairly balanced when played against each other 1 on 1 or in a Free for all. However, when Planechase is inserted the decks should be built so they are at an advantage when 1 of "their" planes is the current plane.
Let's start by choosing Color(s) and Planes for each deck as well as the running theme/synergy for each deck. Duplicating planes amongst them is fine, but when it can be avoided, I would like that best.

i would enjoy seeing some form of Planechase mill deck. i'm not sure of the colors right off hand, but the planes that easily support it are: Academy at Tolaria West (major deck thinning for playing out your hand) Celestine Reef (stops a majority of attacks coming your way) Minamo (thins decks for every spell played) The Hippodrome (stops combat beating you before you mill your opponents) The Dark Barony (applies damage through mill) Panopticon (burn through the deck faster) Pools of Becoming (burn through the deck faster) Lethe Lake (the straight mill Plane) Sanctum of Serra (provides a wrath effect) Skybreen (stops spells that could harm you from being cast, and can possibly provide a win condition through the damage and the amount of draw your other plans represent)
Outside of the planes, i can see the deck as pure control deck, with mill subthemes. Blue is a definate, with a possibility of black for a removal base and access to more mill.

I would take The Dark Barony out of there (in case you play against a black deck) and put in Fields of Summer (as free life gain is good for mill decks).
I would also suggest a burn deck with the following plains: The Eon Fog Horizon Boughs Izzet Steam Maze Tember City Eloren Wilds Naar Isle Stronghold Furnace Otaria Glimmervoid Basin Sea of Sand

Good thinking, Patrick. That leaves open the Barony for a black-based unearth deck, which there are a few planes to support.

How about a Ramp deck? Play the Eldrazi guys and some other big stuff. Don't know colors, but use the following planes: Naya Murasa Llanowar Feeding Grounds Eloren Wilds Turri Island Tazeem
Need a couple more planes, but I'm sure you can think of other planes that would benefit from such a deck. As far as color, maybe it would just be mono-green. Mono-green with Eldrazis.

How about singleton decks? Like EDH. Legacy has some pretty strong stuff, and playing 4 of could be unfair.

Ramp seems interesting, though I am uncertain on using much of the Eldrazi. There are a number of planes that interact with a specific color of creature, so some sort of green/white deck might be best.
Also, I think a black tribal deck would work well. It wouldn't have to be a Zombie deck, but I think we can definitely build a better one than Wizards did.

I don't own a Tazeem. But that seems good. I think I am going with the following Planes for the R/G/w? Ramp deck:
Sokenzan - Pump and more attacks in a creature deck seems good. Horizon Boughs - Get more lands fit the theme, right? Naya - Fastbond w no damage + pump = get in there! Llanowar - All creatures give mana & untap big creatures seems correct to play with. Feeding Grounds - Reduce cost and make creatures bigger passes the test. Eloren Wilds - Mana Flare with backup don't do nothing plan earns a slot. Murasa - Creatures get lands. Lands are creatures. Finkel is Einhorn. Einhorn is Finkel. Turri Island - Make my creatures cheap and put them in my hand. May be best Planechase card in the deck? The Aether Flues - This is the weird one in the deck that fits? Tazeem - When I get one? Wow?! Thank ya'll for telling me about this one.
Now we just need a fun deck to go with those cards. I'm thinking a G/R/w deck.

Not to get your hopes up John, but I MAY have a Tazeem you can have. If I do, I'll send it to you.
